Welcome to Acres of Animals Boarding Kennel where we provide healthy and secure environments for your dogs and cats while away from home. Our pets are very well cared for while in our facility. We are owned and operated by Dr. Sandra Cochran, a local veterinarian who graduated from LSU in 1978 and will supply medical attention when needed. All of our animals are kept in a safe facility and our staff spends great attention to each dog and cat to make sure they are well socialized. Each pet is fed, housed, cared for and exercised by our caring staff. The safety of your pet is our primary concern. Dogs are housed in one of our two buildings for dogs. One is our traditional indoor – outdoor concrete block and chain link fencing structure which runs 4 feet by 20 feet and has 25 runs. The second facility is completely enclosed with 20 runs that are 4 feet by 10 feet and has central heating and air conditioning for comfort. Here at Acres of Animals Boarding Kennel we offer a great boarding facility for cats. They have their own room in open wire cages with minimum of 6 square feet of floor space, perches and windows to see outside.
